An Adagio.
Disclaimer: this is an improvisation, which means it was made up on the spot, so please don't expect a refined composition or you will be disappointed. These improvisations are intended to evoke musical ideas with the improviser and the listeners. On that note, happy listening. |

In the certain future, as recorded in Revelation 12:7-11, there will be a war in heaven--something we cannot fully comprehend--in which the dragon, Satan, will be eternally cast out of heaven, never again to accuse the brethren, who are bought by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, God the Son. This piece for men's chorus and piano celebrates this event. The words were written long ago by Isaac Watts.

This first one was an attempted Celtic improvisation, by request. :)

Here's a triumphant sounding improvisation. This was actually recorded in two pieces: the first about a week ago, and I ran out of recording room on my electric piano just as I was about to make the final recap of the theme; so the second part, which is just the last 50 seconds or so, was recorded this morning.

Nothing novel compositionally, just mood music.
(Please excuse the bad recording quality; I recorded it wrong this time.)
