In the certain future, as recorded in Revelation 12:7-11, there will be a war in heaven--something we cannot fully comprehend--in which the dragon, Satan, will be eternally cast out of heaven, never again to accuse the brethren, who are bought by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, God the Son. This piece for men's chorus and piano celebrates this event. The words were written long ago by Isaac Watts.

The Music

I am usually tempted to not say anything about the music and let it speak for itself. ...still tempted. Yes, I have decided again to let the music speak for itself. To a musician all the material is present in the recording for analysis, and to the layman all the musical material will be sufficiently delivered from the speakers to the ears, without a note missing.
