This first one was an attempted Celtic improvisation, by request. :) This next one was a request for a dorian-mode improv. Always a nice mode. Some liberties were taken to use some polychords too. And finally, a request for one in Locrian mode of all modes! It was fun, turned out not as hard as I thought. It helped that I did it on the B tonic, though I again threw in some polytonality. Disclaimer: this is an improvisation, which means it was made up on the spot, so please don't expect a refined composition or you will be disappointed. These improvisations are intended to evoke musical ideas with the improviser and the listeners. On that note, happy listening. |
